My name is Bonney and I am the CEO at Bassetlaw Hospice.

Bassetlaw Hospice, provides palliative care for patients who have been diagnosed with cancer or a progressive long term condition. It exists to support the patient and their families to achieve the best quality of life.

I do not have any friends or family that have needed to access the service but I do see first hand the difference the hospice makes to everyone that does.

The love and care it provides to anyone on their palliative journey is outstanding and I am proud to be apart of that.

Currently we have to raise over £350,000 per year to be able to provide the services, however that is soon going to change.

From the 1st September 2025 the Hospice will be completely independent from NottsHC Trust. There were no other providers which meant, if the charity did not become independent the hospice would close....

We cannot let this happen and in turn our expenditure will increase, your support is needed more now, than ever before.
