At 16 i became homeless and was placed into roundabout hostel, i spent 6 month there learning basic living skills and repairing the broken relationship with my mum and then i was given a tenancy support worker from roundabout to keep and maintain my property. I eventually started volunteering as a peer educator for roundabout to give back for all the brilliant support they gave me. Without the support of roundabout i truly believe i would not be alive today or have the chance to repair the bond i so desperately needed with my mum. The charity has pushed me to become the amazing person i am today giving me the confidence to get into working and build a future for me and my daughter, i am so grateful to have been supported by roundabout through my homeless and work journey. i want to make sure no child should have to suffer with homelessness so this is my way of being a part of the first step to end youth homelessness.

Everyday roundabout provide shelter, and support to over 350 young people in Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

From £5 which could buy bedding for a young person when they first move into our hostel or their own flat, to £5,000 which will house a young person for a full year. Every donation makes a difference to the lives of young homeless people across South Yorkshire.
