Ride Africa November 2026

Charlotte Kenyon is raising money for Child.org International

Team: Miles For Mothers

In November 2026, a group of brilliant fundraisers will cycle hundreds of kilometres across Kenya to raise money for Child.org, a charity working to support mums and babies in Kenya with life-saving healthcare and information.

Story

In November 2026, our group of 13 mums will be swapping the school run for the rugged trails of Ride Africa Kilimanjaro. We are taking on this immense physical and mental challenge to support the life-changing work of Child.org, and we need your help to get across the finish line.

Why we’re doing this

As mothers in the UK, we know how incredibly privileged we are to have access to world-class postnatal services and healthcare. We’ve seen firsthand how vital that support is during the most vulnerable moments of early parenthood. We believe that birth shouldn't be a lottery, and that every woman, regardless of where she lives, deserves access to the healthcare that keeps mothers and babies safe.

Inspiring the next generation

This isn't just about the miles in the saddle. We want to show our children that their mums are more than "just" mums! We are adventurers, teammates, and women who show up for a cause. We want them to grow up seeing that they can be strong, brave, and ambitious, and that they have the power to change the world for others.

How you can help

Every penny we raise goes directly to Child.org, an organisation dedicated to making sure every child has the best start in life. We will be funding the ride and travel expenses ourselves so your donation goes directly to fund maternal health clinics, neonatal care, and life-saving support for families who need it most.

Thank you for supporting our journey, our daughters' futures, and the health of mothers everywhere.
