Charlotte climbs Kilimanjaro for Chameleon Buddies

Charlotte Watson is raising money for Chameleon Buddies

Hiking Kilimanjaro · 6 October 2025

We promote social inclusion among people living with a stoma or childbirth injury, both in the UK and in Kenya. We are passionate advocates for providing hope for people struggling to live with lifechanging injuries’ following childbirth, aiming to help women to adapt to these changes.

Story

Thankyou for visiting my fundraising page.

I am Charlotte a trustee of the charity Chameleon Buddies. I was invited to join this epic climb by our chairman Gill who is the driving force behind everything Chameleon Buddies. KILIMANJARO I’m coming for you!! I’m lucky enough to be taking part in this epic challenge as a supporter and ally to all women who have suffered with birth trauma & stoma’s.

Trekking Mount Kilimanjaro is no easy task. It will take strength, discipline and resilience and I will need to train physically and mentally. I will be there supporting these women every step of the way. Im raising money for @chameleon_buddies to help build a purpose wing at the Gynocare Hospital in Kenya, spread awareness about our small charity and how it helps others & to reduce stigma.

We climb in October 2025, this is a once in a life time opportunity to climb the highest free standing mountain in the world. And I can’t actually believe I’m doing it 😬. It is an honour to be asked to be apart of such a special experience.

It will be hard work mentally and physically.

We are raising money to build a new hospital wing at the Gynocare hospital in Eldoret.
