Story
This year, Cian is taking on one of the biggest challenges of his life – running the London Marathon – and he needs your help!
Entering the London Marathon is a decision Cian made to challenge himself both mentally & physically. He has always admired the determination & resilience of marathon runners, and Cian felt it was time to push his limits. It’s not just about the race—it’s about the journey to get there and proving to himself that he can achieve something he once thought was impossible.
Cian is a valued member of staff at Y Madryn, Chwilog and was impressed by his colleagues daughter (Cadi) & her friends, aged between 7-10 (which two of them are Cian's cousins, Caleb & Alys) who took on a big challenge of walking up Snowdon last year to raise money for TSSS. Following months of hard training for his big challenge & the big day nearly here, he thought this was also a great opportunity to help a very worthy cause and make a difference for women & girls like Cadi who lives with the challenges of TS everyday.
Turner Syndrome is a rare genetic condition that affects girls & women, causing various medical and developmental challenges. Unfortunately, it’s often underrecognized, and many women with Turner Syndrome face a lifetime of medical and emotional obstacles.
The TSSS is an incredible organization that provides vital resources, support, and awareness to those affected by Turner Syndrome. They work tirelessly to offer advocacy, education, and a sense of community for individuals and families navigating this condition.
Here’s how you can help:
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful difference. Your generosity will go directly towards supporting individuals living with Turner Syndrome, funding research, and helping the TSSS continue its life-changing work.
