As part of my 40th Birthday build up, I created a list of 40 (OK 46 because I'm greedy!) things I wanted to do. From visiting Harry Potter studios to watching Hamilton at the theatre. But I threw in some things that I wanted to achieve during this time as well.

Raising £1000 for Myton hospice is one on the list that means that most to me and in all honesty, if it's the only one I smash, then I'd be perfectly satisfied and see the list as a success! But as the new year begins and marks 7 months until I turn 40, suddenly £1000 seems like an awful lot of money to raise.

But with a little help from my friends, I am excited to get planning some fundraising events to reach this target.

Perhaps most importantly we give them more quality time with their loved ones.

Last year we supported more than 1,500 people and their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.
