Story

*PLEASE DONT HIDE YOUR DONATION VALUE*- If i can't see it, i can't allocate the correct number of tickets.

On Tuesday 26th March 2024 i very nearly lost my life to a Heart Attack - a blood clot which had gone deep into my right ventricle.

At the age of just 44 my life almost vanished, and i would have left behind a loving wife and my 2 year old son Leo who i love dearly.

I was lucky, i knew the symptoms and i acted immediately to find emergency help, the ambulance arrived within 20 minutes, and in the next 30 mins after that the ambulance staff stabilized me and got me to hospital.

My luck continued, as i was travelling with work away in Bristol for the evening - i found myself in the Bristol Heart Institute having an emergency procedure to remove the clot from my heart - one of the best heart hospitals in the UK.

However, not everyone is as lucky as me, some pass away, some have much worse conditions, but there is a charity behind all of that which matters for your heart called the British heart Foundation.

Their research is absolutely vital to allow hospitals across the UK to become more advanced in Heart care, so that one day, if like me you find yourself in the same position - your chance of survival is much higher than ever before.

Whilst in Bristol Heart Institute, the messages i received not just from friends and family, but from a community of people some i knew in the flesh but some I've never even met before, which kept me going - that community is from following my local football team Lincoln City FC.

The club dedicated the Good Friday win against Leyton Orient to me with a personal message from one of the players after the game, and from the manager in his post match interview - which honestly gave me so much joy you wouldn't believe!

To express my thanks and gratitude to what they did, i got to say thanks personally to Lasse Sorensen (player) and Michael Skubala (manager), and they kindly signed a brand new home shirt which i am raffling off to raise money for the BHF - the shirt in my profile picture.

Entry per ticket costs £2

So if you donate £10 - you get 5 tickets / names in the hat.

Please leave your full name in the message box where it says name (vital to get the shirt to you).

*PLEASE DONT HIDE YOUR DONATION VALUE*- If i can't see it, i cant allocate the correct number of tickets.

I am looking to draw the winner before the end of the league 1 playoff final (May 18th).

Thank you for reading, and thank you if you donate, and good luck to win!
