Jyoti Smith is raising money for Marie Curie
Story
Hi we are The Smiths! David and Jyoti writing this from snowy ol Brum!! This March we have decided to a fundraiser for Marie Curie, a Charity that is very close to our heart 💛.
In 2022 After a further lung function decline Jyoti was referred to Marie Curie. She had her first appointment on the 2nd May 2022 a day before her birthday, this is the day we met Jenna our Clinical Specialist Nurse from Marie Curie.
The care and support we have recieved from Marie Curie has been amazing from pain management to symptoms control. Jyoti has been able to live her life comfortably. They provided work shops and other courses to help with symptom management. As well as provide counselling for pre-breavement.
I have chosen to do the walkathon fundraiser for Mary curie in March because they are a great charity and they always go above and beyond for my wife and what better way to show appreciation than fundraiser for them an this year I’m doing the walkathon. ~ David
This March Dave will be walking and i will be zooming around a minimum of 10 miles in March 2025 to raise much needed awarness and funds for Marie Curie!
