Bakewell Tarts are taking part in Trek26PeakDistrict2024-26miles

A good friend asked me, when I told him, I was hiking 26 miles for the Alzheimer’s Society, ‘Couldn’t you just send a cheque? 🤣’, and part of me thought, he’s absolutely right, but gave my head a wobble and said, ‘it’s a great opportunity to raise money for such a worthy charity’.

So here I am, public begging, in the hope many generous souls sponsor me even 10p per mile, to hit the target. Each step is to honour those who received their devastating diagnosis, those who care for people living with Alzheimer’s and the families who live with the heart break, of the ‘long goodbye’
