Story
Thanks for visiting my page. Back in 2009, treatment for my husband Chris's heart condition was transformative, and we are running London together with our son Joe to celebrate and raise awareness for the work that BHF do. The training regime this time round has been challenging. Managing injury and accepting that another Boston qualifying time is off the table, it will all be about getting over the line. It will be my eighth and final marathon; I am determined to enjoy the day despite the inevitable pain! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported and encouraged me so far this one has been a momentous challenge. Many of you have already donated to me via my husband Chris's page to help him reach his charity place fundraising target which he has now easily surpassed, so thank you! I was incredibly lucky to get another ballot entry and this page is another way in which you can sponsor me if you haven't already done so. On the day, I will be thinking about the BHF and how they have halved the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but also the hundreds of people who will lose their lives every day due to heart issues. Thanks again in advance.
