My names Ellie and this March, alongside friends, I will be running the Liverpool Half Marathon on my birthday in aid of Alder Hey Children’s Charity! Working at Alder Hey I have first hand experience on how deserving the children and hero’s at Alder Hey are for more fundraising support. Caring for over 330,000 children and their families every year, Alder Hey is an incredible hospital helping children with an endless variation of illnesses to get better and change lives. After starting work at Alder Hey, I have seen how much a of a difference life saving treatments can make and it makes me proud to make a difference myself.
