I found YMCA Camp Menogyn through my best friend in college - starting as a rock climbing, canoeing and back packing guide back in 1999, then moving to Program Director in the early 2000s and after that, Communication Director in the office. I was a health officer, now have joined the community board and if you know me, you know this place has a piece of my heart. Teens learning about themselves, their strengths and each other all through transformational wilderness experiences. Every young person deserves the chance to discover themselves through wilderness adventure. Nestled at the edge of the Boundary Waters, Menogyn offers transformative canoeing and backpacking expeditions that build confidence, leadership, and community. I ask for your support to ensure that these experiences are available to ALL.

In 2025, we awarded over $120,000 in scholarships to ensure no camper was turned away from our program. We also relied on the generous support of generous friends and community to provide essential gear for our groups and critical training to support the leaders on our seasonal staff team. Your gift supports not only the future campers of Menogyn, but also the next generation of adventurers, conservationists, and leaders in our community.
