Hi everyone- Anyone who knows me is aware I’m not a runner but this year I’ve decided to push myself and improve my fitness while raising money for charity. On Sunday 5th July I will be running the AJ Bell Great North 10k with my Mum.

My chosen charity is Forever Hounds Trust. A cause very close to my heart. Greyhounds and Lurchers are at a constant risk of abandonment and neglect and Forever Hounds Trust’s vision is to see a day in which every greyhound and lurcher is free from risk or need. Money donated to this charity can aid in the rehabilitation and re homing process for dogs in their care.

This charity receives no funding from the Greyhound Board of Great Britain and solely relies on funds from individual supporters fundraising legacies and grants, therefore donations are so important.
