Ride from London to Plymouth for APAGBI Annual Meeting

Our colleague, friend and unstoppable triathlete, Mark Thomas consultant at Great Ormond Street Hospital passed away suddenly from pancreatic cancer in 2025.

Personally he was an inspiration and I enjoyed sharing IronMan stories with him, having clocked an 11hr 56 IronMan Barcelona in 2023.

To honour his memory, we wanted to do something of a huge cycling challenge that he would have undoubtedly signed himself up for!

Riding from London to Plymouth, it’s going to be a tough few days in the saddle!

We are also looking forward to the challenge of getting to the APAGBI Annual Scientific Meeting using sustainable transport!

We are raising money for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
