Story
I'm running and cycling over 400 miles to raise vital funds for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation — because in rugby, this fight hits close to home.
Coming from a rugby background, I’ve been inspired by countless legends of the game — players who gave everything on the field and became heroes to many. Tragically, too many of those same heroes have been diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease (MND), a brutal illness with no cure.
Every rugby club seems to have a connection to a high-profile sports star affected by MND. It’s a stark reminder that this disease doesn’t discriminate — and it’s time we fought back.
That’s why I’m taking on this massive challenge: running and cycling over 400 miles. Because only something this tough feels right for the seriousness of the cause. I'm pushing my body to its limits in the hope we can raise serious money for research, treatment, and ultimately, a cure.
The My Name'5 Doddie Foundation is at the forefront of that mission. Every penny raised will help bring us closer to the day when MND no longer devastates lives.
Please donate if you can — for the legends we've lost, the heroes still fighting, and the future we can change.
