Story
I am running Sydney marathon in memory of my sister Katie B
Katie lost her battle with Leukaemia in 2016 after a 7 year fight with cancer.
She was by far the strongest, funniest and bravest woman I have ever met. We were also each-others bone marrow match
Losing Katie was one of the hardest things my family and I have ever been through. There will always be a void in our lives. But my sisters and I will continue to keep her memory alive. As there will always be four Buckley girls.
During this time we also lost our dad. My dad was a massive part of me getting into fitness and running.
I am running Sydney marathon for Katie’s ten year anniversary. I will take Katie and my dad with me every step of the way.
Despite being half way across the world from my sisters, I know they’ll be with me cheering me on ❤️
Please donate if you can, any donation is massively appreciated.
I have chosen to raise money for Cure Leukaemia:
Cure Leukaemia helps blood cancer patients to access pioneering drug and transplant treatments by funding a network of specialist research nurses across the UK.
This is an amazing charity.
