Story
Henry has wanted to be RNLI crew since he was two!
He is passionate about the charity and gets very excited talking to his Heroes at our local stations: Appledore and Ilfracombe and then those at Swanage when we are on holiday.
We probably have the entire contents of the gift shop in our house never mind the collection of RNLI wellies that he has gone through!
Now that Henry is Seven, he has decided to help the RNLI before becoming a crew member by cycling 100 miles over four days to raise important funds for these amazing volunteers that go out to sea in all kinds of conditions to save anyone in need.
RNLI lifesavers are our lifeline. They’re the lifeboat crews who provide 24-hour search and rescue right around the UK and Ireland. The lifeguards keeping watch on 240 of the busiest beaches in the UK and Channel Islands. And the RNLI safety teams and educators working tirelessly to stop people getting into trouble in the first place.
Please give Henry a cheer if you see him pedalling away!
Thank you.
