I am taking on the challenge of running my first half marathon in October.

I have chosen to fundraise for Bowel Research UK in memory of my father Gerard Venes, who passed away in 2013 of Bowel Cancer at the age of 49.

Bowel Research UK are the UK’s leading specialist bowel cancer and bowel disease research charity. Early diagnosis of cancer and precancer means treatments can start earlier and patients have a much better chance of survival.
