Story

Well, it's my birthday. Someone asked what I'd like as a gift. I'd really like to do something useful. I've downsized, after all!

One of my friends died of cancer last December. I was struck by her adventures in healthcare in Afghanistan, and the situation has got so much worse since then. Read Drunk Chickens and Burnt Macaroni for a taste of life there.

MSF teams are responding to the crisis in Afghanistan, providing medical aid, expertise and life-saving supplies during the escalating crisis. In five locations across the country, they are treating emergency trauma cases and providinglifesaving medical care.

Your support will ensure MSF can continue delivering life-saving medical care to people caught in the crisis in Afghanistan as well as supporting Afghan refugees in neighbouring countries.

Thanks for helping.
