Story

Kevin's story

A good friend has just come to the end of treatment for Stage 4 Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma, and I would be very grateful if you could support me and my mates Gareth Thomas (Sub), Mark Holden, Marc Pawson, Glyn Roberts, David Wallis, Steve Black, Martin Hoare as we attempt to ride our bikes up the classic cycling climbs of Mallorca. They are Puig Major, Sa Calobra and Cap De Formentor over 3 days, starting October this year.

In cycling terms it's not too huge a challenge, however, personally you all know I prefer running events and never thought I would don the lycra, so a couple of quid for a very worthy cause would be so great. (Pics will be uploaded).

The challenge to ride a bike in Mallorca whilst raising money for Fatboys Children's Charity, was the brain child of Gareth Thomas, whilst also fighting an extremely serious personal battle with an aggressive cancer, this kept him focused throughout his own treatment. However for many of the children that Fatboys Children's Charity support, the future isn't looking so positive. I know this is " another" just giving link and times are hard for us all, however even just few quid would literally be putting smiles on these very poorly Children's faces this Christmas.

The charity is 100% volunteer , no salary's or admin costs are taken . Every penny goes to Christmas presents for these children.

Thank you all so much, anything will help.

Kindest regards

Kev (Dez)
