Story

So, in a moment of madness, I signed up to perform stand-up comedy... in front of far more people than I realised!

It’s all part of a comedy event where a group of brave fools (!) will attempt to make people laugh – all in the name of a great cause.

As you probably know, I like to think I’m funny. A small number of people might even agree... usually under threat or extreme duress. But making strangers laugh (on purpose) is a slightly different story. So, I’m putting in the work: eight weeks of coaching which will hopefully mean I won't need the red wine to get on stage.

The charity I'm raising money for is Survive – an incredible charity that offers specialist counselling and support to survivors of rape, sexual assault, and domestic violence. I'm also proud to be a trustee, so I’ve seen first-hand the life-changing impact their work has.

If you’d like to support this amazing charity (and encourage me to look silly on stage), please donate. Every penny goes directly to Survive.

And, if you’re coming to the show, please do laugh – even if you have to fake it. You have plenty time to practice...

Thanks so much for your support 😊
