This year, I’m running the Great South Run to raise money for the Cardiac Care Fund, a cause that has become incredibly personal to my family and me. My husband survived an at-home cardiac arrest, a moment that changed our lives forever. Thanks to the expertise and dedication of the incredible team at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust, he is here with us today.

The Cardiac Care Fund supports vital improvements in patient care, from upgrading facilities to purchasing life-saving equipment, training staff, and fostering research and innovation. By raising funds, I hope to give back to the department that gave us so much and ensure that other families receive the same exceptional care.
