I’m raising money specifically for the Lewy Body Society, as I’ve seen this awful disease completely consume one of my grandparents, and also seen the utter lack of knowledge, care and support that has been offered to help.

Even the medical/ambulance teams know nothing or very little about this specific type of dementia, and that is incredibly concerning.

More needs to be done for research into this type of dementia, but also specifically more needs to happen to help family, friends, medical teams and carers be able to support sufferers, and to understand what to expect, and who to go to for help.
