I’m proud to be fundraising on behalf of Origin, the main sponsor supporting this cause.
Rennie Grove has been part of our family for years—from caring for my aunt at the end of her life to my dad previously volunteering in one of their stores. Their team provided not only compassionate care for my relatives but also emotional support for the whole family during difficult times.
Why this matters:
Rennie Grove Peace is a registered charity providing free, specialist care and support for adults and children with life-limiting illnesses in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. They empower people from diagnosis to live the best quality of life possible—whether facing a life-limiting condition or a terminal illness. Care is delivered in the community, at home, and in their Inpatient Unit, offering practical, specialist, and emotional support so families can spend quality time together when every moment matters.
Why your help is vital:
Only 16% of their funding comes from statutory sources. The remaining 84% relies on donations, which directly impacts the level of care they can provide.
Your donation makes a real difference:
£12 funds 20 minutes of specialist care.
£21 pays for an hour of care from a Healthcare Assistant, either in the inpatient unit or at home.
£37 covers an hour of care from a specialist nurse, including symptom management and emotional support.
£62 buys a blood pressure monitor and ensures its safe use for a year.
£157 funds a Healthcare Assistant for a full day to provide personal care.
Every contribution helps families like mine receive the care and comfort they need. Please donate today and help us make every moment matter.
