I didn't really want to run anymore, I'm enjoying the torture of golf too much. My knees hurt, I'm carrying too much weight and probably need an operation on my foot at some point. BUT, when you get the chance to run the London Marathon and to raise money for an incredible charity in doing so, I couldn't let that opportunity pass me by.

I've worked for Bowel Cancer UK for over 6 years now and I'm immensely proud of our work in Wales.

We fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
