Story
I did it! 🚴 22.3km in under 3 hours!
I set off from Purwell Park in Hitchin, following the cycle paths past Wymondley Woods and around the back of Willian. From there I headed between Letchworth and Baldock — where things took an unexpected turn when we had to call the Fire Brigade out to a burning shed in the woods! — before continuing on to Radwell Meadows near Norton.
I stopped there for a well-earned rest and a snack, then pushed on to Costa for a mango bubble frappe (essential fuel!) before completing the final 6km back the way I came to Purwell.
22.3km, one fire brigade callout, and one very good frappe later — I made it! Thank you so much for your support, it made every kilometre worth it. If you haven't sponsored me yet, every donation counts 🙏
Ariana’s on a bike mission for cats! 🚴♀️🐾
So I’ve decided to cycle a half marathon (21.1km) for Cats Protection — mostly because I love cats, and also because I would love to cycle for charity! 😅
Cats Protection do amazing work rescuing cats, getting them the vet care they need, and finding them proper homes. I want to help them keep doing that.
If you can chip in a few quid, I’d massively appreciate it — and if you can’t, a share or a “you’ve got this” message means just as much. Wish me luck, my legs are already nervous.
Thanks for being here 🐱
