Story
I’m excited to announce that I will be running the New York City Marathon this year. This will be my first and I am thrilled to be doing it in support of JDJ Foundation!
The JDJ Charitable Foundation is a NYC-based nonprofit founded by James Blauvelt in honor of his parents, Joseph and Donna Marie Blauvelt, after both battled long fights with cancer. Since 2018, the foundation has worked to support families facing cancer and fund important research, including rare brain cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
In addition to cancer support, the foundation also provides adaptive wheelchairs and recreational tricycles for children with physical limitations whose insurance may not cover these life-changing resources.
Running a marathon has always been a huge personal goal for me, and I’m incredibly grateful to be doing it for a cause that truly makes a difference in people’s lives.
Any donation, big or small, will go directly toward supporting families in need and helping fund these meaningful programs. Thank you so much for your support, encouragement, and for being part of this journey with me!
