Story

On 6th July 2024, Mandy and Grace will undertake the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in order to raise money to support the work of PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide. We are aiming to raise £600 for this important cause. We are doing this in memory of Gemma Everett, who died by suicide in May 2014. The challenge involves a 38 km trek and a combined ascent of 1,532 m.

PAPYRUS is the national Charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK. In 2021 over 1900 young people took their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINE247.

Every £5 raised can contribute towards a life-saving contact to HOPELINE247. Your donations really are lifesaving, thank you.
