Since having Alfie, it's been hard to prioritise time for personal fitness and challenges in the way I used to. I wanted to mark the New Year and the last month before Alfie turns two to do something HARD for me.

Hattie will be my partner in crime on the day, kindly stepping up to the challenge along side me with her dog Fika in the 12km cannicross.

Since working at City to Sea, I have been continually exposed to the solutions at our finger tips and the innovations just around the corner to help tackle single-use plastic pollution and support the transition to a circular economy. Yet, there is still so much to do and every donation helps us deliver change faster. With Alfie now in tow, my motivation to change things for the better has been stronger, as quite simply, he deserves better.
