London Marathon 2026 in support of the MS Trust

Story

I’ve always promised myself I’d run the London Marathon before I turn 40 — and with that milestone coming up in July 2026, now’s the time.

I’m running for the MS Trust, a charity that means a lot to me and my family. Both my Gran and my uncle were diagnosed with MS, ultimately it contributed to my Gran's untimely death before I had the chance to meet her. This disease has left a deep mark on us, and I want to do my part to support those living with it today.

There’s also a nice bit of family history here — my Mum ran the London Marathon for the MS Trust back in 2006, so it feels pretty special to be following in her footsteps 20 years later.

About the MS Trust

The MS Trust is a UK charity supporting everyone affected by MS, from diagnosis and throughout their journey. They don’t receive any government or NHS funding, so every pound raised really does make a difference.

What your donation could do:

£15 funds a call to their information specialists, giving vital support to someone newly diagnosed.

£100 provides the Making Sense of MS guide to everyone diagnosed in a single week.

£1,800 trains a newly-appointed MS specialist nurse, ensuring better care for people with MS across the UK.

I’d be so grateful if you could support me and the MS Trust by donating whatever you can. Thank you.
