Story
On august the 3rd I'll be taking part in the big school run at Worksop college. The event is a 12 hour race around a 5km course. The person that runs the most miles in 12 hours wins.
I will be running to raise funds for an amazing charity called active fusion.
Too many children and young people, specifically those living in poverty experience poor physical health and mental well-being.
Today, you are part of the first generation in many generations where your own children here in South Yorkshire will have a shorter life expectancy than yourselves. For those living in poverty, the gap is on average closer to 10 years in comparison to the life expectancy of their more affluent peers.
Active Fusion uses the power of sport and physical activity to change lives. Please support their mission to create more healthy, happy and active young people.
