I'm taking on the Crisis Icebreaker cold-water challenge this year and adding a twist.

Last year I raised £150 for one challenge, so this year I wanted to go further and take advantage of the numerous open water locations to do multiple icebreakers throughout the winter season in support of Crisis, who help people facing homelessness with a variety of services, a major part of which is Crisis at Christmas, a time when many people are gathered in warm homes, surrounded by loved ones, and which this money will help fund the same in safe and warm locations around the country where people can access medical and health services, mental health support, food and a bed. In recent times Crisis have also managed to create a year round system where onward support can also be provided to help people out of homelessness, through working with partners in the private and 3rd sector to achieve this.
