Praise be to Allah, I’ve been fortunate to receive an amazing opportunity to gather funds and aid for Bangladesh 🇧🇩 my homeland.

 As you may know, Bangladesh is one of the most densely populated countries globally, which intensifies the challenges related to resource distribution and poverty alleviation. The heavy reliance on agriculture as the primary source of livelihood, along with issues like land fragmentation and susceptibility to recurrent natural disasters such as floods and cyclones, has resulted in severe economic hardships for rural communities.

Furthermore, an enduring crisis of worker exploitation, notably in the textile and garment sectors, tugs at the heartstrings. The meager wages, dipping below the poverty line, wrench away the ability of families to secure even the most fundamental necessities each month, earning as little as £30 to £60 a month.

Since January 2022, heartbreaking statistics reveal that about 20 million people in Bangladesh continue to grapple with the harsh reality of undernourishment.

This is why, with the grace of Allah, upon achieving a goal of raising £10,000 for aid, I will be granted the opportunity to be deployed to the sacred grounds of my motherland, and hand deliver the aid. 

Charity, especially Sadaqah, holds immense importance in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said even a smile, is a form of charity. Sadaqah helps to cure illness and averts death. Sadaqah eases hardships and removes calamities. Sadaqah expiates sins. It is an investment, in this life and the hereafter, Subhanallah!

Human Appeal is a non-profit organisation working across the globe to strengthen humanity’s fight against poverty, social injustice and natural disaster. Through the provision of immediate relief and the establishment of self-sustaining development programmes, we aim to invest in real, effective solutions.

With your support we will aim to establish healthcare, education, and livelihood programmes that pave the way for empowered, self-serving communities. We will also provide food, medical aid, and disaster relief during emergencies, a critical intervention that saves lives.

Recent and historical global events have caused worldwide inflation, food shortage, famine, water insecurity and much more. The money raised will support orphans, windows and families in desperate need all around the world.

Your donations can help us provide the below in countries such as Lebanon, Syria, East Africa, Turkey, Pakistan, Palestine, Gaza, Bangladesh and several other countries that Human Appeal provides lifesaving assistance for.

£30 – Can provide a family with 2 bread deliveries per week for two months.

£40 - Can be a lifeline to a family in crisis. Provide a vulnerable family with food, clean water, and medical aid. Your donation can transform the recovery of a family that has lost their home and livelihood.

£70 – Can keep a family-of-five fed and nourished for an entire month with a wholesome and nutritious food parcel.

£70 – Can provide a family with 20 litres of fuel, keeping them warm through winter.

£100 - Can provide an emergency kit - provide a family with food, water, and basic medical care.

£200 – Can provide 200 babies with access to the neonatal new rehabilitated care unit within its first six months.

£250 - Can help us be ready to respond rapidly, wherever and whenever disaster strikes, helping families to survive.
