Story
As most people know my gorgeous baby boy Riley was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour in 2020 before the world closed down for covid. Riley had surgery to remove 40% of the tumour followed by intense radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Unfortunately in June 21 Riley was admitted into Birmingham childrens again where we found out riles now had tumours down his spine we were then sent to acorns childrens hospice. When he was admitted to acorns we were told it would be days. Riley passed away on the 31st august 2021 at age 9.
Riley was such a happy cheeky child through all the treatment and surgerys he was constantly smiling never let anything get him down he loved life.
Every year we do a charity event to raise money riles would love to be joining us
This year me and a group of friends and family are planning on doing the summer wolf run 8th june at Stanley hall Leicestershire
I know times are very hard at the moment but even the smallest donation will make such a big difference.
The more we can raise to fight this horrendous disease will hopefully in the future mean that no one else will go through what we did.
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!
I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help me fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
