Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On Saturday 12th August 2023 at 10 a.m. I will be climbing to The Saddle in the Mourne Mountains, Newcastle, Co. Down, with my family and friends, raising money for the Northern Ireland branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association. This is a cause very close to my heart as my wife, Anna, has recently been diagnosed with MND. The N.I. branch has been very helpful and supportive to Anna and our family, over the past few months. I want to climb on Slieve Donard as a thank you and to encourage all people with MND and their families. It will also raise awareness of the disease and to support the services that are available through the N. I. branch. I myself have Parkinson's disease and I am determined to complete the 6 mile walk to The Saddle and back to Donard Park, with the support of my family and friends. The Northern Ireland branch aim to provide assistance, advice and support to all who are affected by this disease. All donations, not matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and will make such a difference!
