Story
Domestic abuse affects 1 in 4 women, so you will now women in abusive relationships now who are unabel to reach out for help and support.
Victims don't get a break,
They don't get the chance to just stop the abuse for a few days while they rest.
The Mile a day in May challenge asks you to do an activity every day without "skipping" a day int he pool or a day running, we are asking you to commit to activity every day for a month, for a month to acknowledge that victims do not have a choice to stop the abuse, often it comes every day.
They need a lifeline.
Pathway Project is that lifeline for help and support and offers immediate emergency accommodation for women and children who are fleeing domestic abuse.
Its vital that we are here for every victims who needs us , that's where this challenge comes in. Every penny raised will be used to support victims in their recovery.
Please give as much as you are able, while I swim, run or walk my miles!
thank you
