PTSD has touched my life in so many ways, from being diagnosed with it several years ago. I was lucky enough to find ways to recover, working with some amazing professionals but also using the ocean as a place to heal. It's also touched my personal life in other ways effecting family, friends and work collegues some of which are sadly no longer with us. Bringing awareness to PTSD and Complex PTSD is something I am so passionate about but also talking about my own journey to recovery I am so pleased to be teaming up with PTSD UK an amazing charity who do so much to help raise awareness...heres a bit about them...

PTSD UK is the only UK charity dedicated to the education about and awareness raising of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, it's causes, symptoms & the treatments available - no matter the trauma that caused it.

Our mission is to provide support and information for anyone affected by PTSD (and their friends and family). We campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding of the condition and treatments available.
