ShelterBoots '26 - walking 700 miles for ShelterBox disaster relief · 9 May 2026

ShelterBox work to ensure that vulnerable families around the world have life-saving emergency shelter, and other essential tools and aid items, after disaster strikes. Be it an earthquake, flood, conflict or hurricane, we are there for those most in need.

Story

When catastrophe strikes in whatever form - whether flooding, earthquake, violent storms or violent conflict - the first thing people need is a roof over their heads, and the tools to rebuild their future.

With the support of Rotary and other international partners, ShelterBox has been answering that call for 25 years.

In 2023, you helped me raise over £10,000 for ShelterBox as I walked 425 miles across England and Wales in my first ShelterBoots walk. My plan for 2026 is to walk 700 miles from one end of England to the other, and with your help to raise over £20,000.

I'm grateful to Rotary clubs up and down the country who will be supporting me every step of the way, and especially my friends at Rotary Evesham Vale.
