Story
No child should have to fight Cancer and it breaks my heart to see so many beautiful little lives battle through this horrendous ordeal.
I am going to run the Eden Project Marathon on the 20th October 2024 for Children with Cancer UK
Around 10 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK and if I can help in some small way by putting myself in some discomfort and raise some money then running a marathon (up and down eden projects hilly landscape!) would all be worth it.
Children with cancer UK are working to develop safer, kinder & more effective childhood cancer therapies, with fewer toxic side effects and 8 out of 10 young childhood cancer patients can be successfully treated thanks to vital, specialist research that the charity help fund.
