Story

🏔️ Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for a Cause Close to My Heart

Life can change in a moment.💜🦋

Losing my mum was the hardest thing I’ve ever faced. Since she passed away, there have been days that felt heavier than I ever imagined possible. Grief doesn’t disappear — you learn to carry it. Some days are strong days, others are harder. But through it all, I’ve learned something important: even in pain, we can choose purpose.

This climb is about turning loss into something positive.

I’ve decided to take on one of the biggest physical and mental challenges of my life — climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with the climb starting in October 2027 — not just for myself, but to help children who are facing battles of their own.

I am raising money for Wishes 4 Kids, an incredible Leicester-based charity that grants wishes to local children with life-threatening illnesses. They create moments of joy, hope and unforgettable memories for families going through unimaginable times.

When you’ve experienced loss, you understand how precious memories really are. If this climb can help create even one magical memory for a child and their family, every step, every blister and every tough training session will be worth it.

This journey is:

💛 For my mum

💪 For every hard day that shaped me

🌟 For children who deserve moments of happiness

🏔️ For proving that pain can be turned into purpose

Kilimanjaro stands at 5,895 metres above sea level. It will test me physically and mentally — but it’s nothing compared to what these children endure.
