Kids' Village is building the UK's first respite holiday village just for children with critical illnesses and their families. A place where they can be themselves again and spend time with those closest to them for a well deserved respite break away from hospitals and the trauma of having a critical illness.

Story

Help build Kids Village!

We are proud to be supporting Kids Village for the second time with this Kilimanjaro climb. It's an eight day trek to 19,341 feet (5,895 m), higher than either of us have been before.

All of our expenses are being covered personally. 100% of your donation will go to Kids Village.

Good friends of ours founded Kids Village, the UK's first holiday village just for really sick children and their families.

Samantha Fletcher-Goodwin, the founder, was diagnosed with cancer at nine years old. She was able to visit an amazing place in the US that was designed for kids just like her. She got to focus on fun and was able to feel safe and comfortable because she was surrounded by other children like her.

After returning to the UK Samantha and the Fletcher family vowed to create a place in the UK that could provide the same experience. The Kids Village dream was born and after lots of hard work to acquire land and gain planning permission, they are now embarking on a huge capital appeal to raise the money needed to build Kids Village. Every penny raised goes towards that.
