Story
Thank for for visiting our Just Giving Page.
On Saturday, November 29th 2025, Kirsten and Theresa are joining a bunch of fellow pickleball players to undertake a “Pickleball Bonanza”. The idea is to play 9 hours of pickleball – continuously - to raise funds for Parkinson’s UK, and the Chilterns Neuro Centre.
As some of you may know, Parkinson's is a charity that is very close to Theresa’s heart. Her dad, Jimmy, has been living with Parkinson's for almost two decades.
Please help Kirsten and Theresa in their efforts to raise some money to fund further medical research into Parkinson’s. It would be great to think that we had all played a little part in finding a treatment that could help people living with this terrible illness.
Please read the information below about the charities that the group are supporting.
Around 150,000 people in the UK live with Parkinson's, a progressive neurological condition causing symptoms like tremors, stiffness, and problems with mobility and other aspects of daily living. No cure exists, but Parkinson's UK provides extensive support and funds research for new treatments.
The Chilterns Neuro Centre supports people living with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's and stroke survivors. The Centre offers a number of life changing and supportive therapies and treatments which empower people with these neurological conditions to live life to the full.
Thank you for your support.
