16 Munros within 16 days !!

The Global 16 Days Campaign is an international campaign to challenge violence against women and girls. The campaign runs every year from 25th November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to 10 December, Human Rights Day. I will start from 31st August 2024, so I can film my journey and the content will be posted during this years 16 days campaign.

I will be fundrasing for Clackmannanshire Women's Aid, which is a registered charity providing support, advice and safe refuge accommodation to women and children who have experienced, or are currently experiencing, domestic abuse. Donated funds help to ensure that women and children can receive the individual support they need, making their journey to a life free from domestic abuse possible.

I am walking in rememberance of my friend and colleague Claire Inglis. Claire was murdered by her boyfriend of only a few weeks, in Novemember 2021, leaving her young son without a mother. Claire should never have been put in a position where she had to house a dangerous violent criminal and she should have been better protected by the system. Claire was a kind and caring young woman, whom we will never forget.
