Story
Thank you for visiting Zara’s page.
As some of you may know, our family has faced significant challenges recently. Zara’s Uncle, Chris, was diagnosed with a Sarcoma of the lung, leading to major surgeries and chemotherapy, in amongst some of life’s ups and downs. This journey has been incredibly tough, but it has also brought out the strength and resilience in all of us. One shining light is that during this time we have learnt a lot as a family and that Zara loves a challenge. This seems to have sparked from her role of cheerleader, supporting her loved ones through two charity walks.
In her desire to contribute further, Zara has decided to embark on a personal walk along Weymouth Beach, supported by family. This event will take place on May 30, 2026, starting at the Oasis Cafe and finishing at the Weymouth Pavilion. At just 6 this will be a great achievement and shows her commitment and willingness to help those around her.
Zara is walking in aid of Sarcoma UK, a national charity dedicated to funding vital research and providing support for those affected by sarcoma cancer. Sarcoma is a challenging type of cancer that develops in bone and soft tissue; it is often difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest cancers to treat.
By supporting this cause, we can make a difference together. Your generous donations will help researchers find answers, keep the Support Line open for those in need, and raise awareness to improve treatment standards and care for everyone affected by this disease. Her target is £250, and every contribution counts towards making an impact.
Thank you for your support as we strive to change lives together.
