CAFT helps children aged 17 and under who through no fault of their own miss out on the normalities of childhood. A free day visit, residential stay or themed visit, provides these children with a much needed opportunity to have fun & laughter and to simply enjoy being children.

Story

If you don't know, I'm fundraising for The Children's Adventure Farm Trust by running the Manchester 10k in May :-)

My son George has Cerebral Palsy and having seen him develop these last seven years has been very rewarding, he has acheived so much.  Before George was born I hadn't had much experience of disabilty and seeing him and his peers at school and how much enjoyment they get from play and learning is a real eye opener.

While George hasn't used the Children's Adventure Farm (although he has been to two open days) I appreciate the importance of the work they do for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children and how much such children gain from time spent at the Adventure farm.
