From Me

I am training to run 13.1 miles on the day of the Great North Run on Sunday 13th September to support a Charity in the North East of England.

I'm fortunate to not be affected by the issues the charity supports, but want your help to contribute to the award-winning child poverty charity's work.

They work across North Tyneside, South Tyneside, and parts of Northumberland in the areas of highest deprivation and where children’s life chances are lowest.

It'll take a large amount of training to get me in shape, and the mental challenge of a half marathon to overcome.

We know that coronavirus has impacted many families and children. We also know that those vulnerable families, children and young people that we help across the North East have been impacted more than most. We are committed to continuing to support those that are most vulnerable.
