Story

Once again, Teekay will be sending an army of warriors to the Lake District to compete in the 24 Peaks Challenge!

Over the weekend of the 02nd and 03rd July, members of the Teekay family from London, Houston, Vancouver and Singapore offices + guests will be taking part in the 24 Peaks Challenge in the Lake District. The challenge is to walk / run /climb, 40 miles over 24 peaks, all over 2,400 feet in under 24 hours, whatever the weather! Last year not even 10% of teams could finish in under the 24 hour time limit.

Team Fargo, led by James Pippard, with team members Colin Gray, Chris Cooper, Guy Gavshon, Jurgis Erdmanis and Anne Liversedge.

Team Sneaky Peaks, led by Paul Roberts, with team members Malcolm Francis, Bertie Brown, Alexandra Roberts, Tara Gillespie, Alex Smith and Mark Spry.

Team Matthew's Angels, led by Charlotte Jacharan with team members Matthew Blake, Corina Schnell, Dede Cantrell, Natasha Meyer and Melvyn Govindramen.

Team Ozzinators, led by Ozlem Kir with team members Ben Goss, Eric Nagel, Hyun Woo Roh, John Christakopoulos, Mikkel Seidelin and Daila Druvaskalne.

This is by far the hardest challenge we do as a team in the office, and the first ever year we have managed to get 4 teams up to the mountains. It involves a heck of a lot of walking, done on not a lot of sleep and sometimes in little to no visibility and rain.

If you could support the team in any way it would be greatly appreciated.
