Once in a generation the stars align to bring together a team of individuals that possess unparalleled athletic ability, unshakable team spirit, and a dogged determination to win at all costs. This is not that team.

Sally, Janet, Alex, Jason and Paul make up the most willing and, crucially, the most readily available athletes Ian had at his disposal. Together, they form the Peak E Grinders. 

United by a series of marriages & long term friendships that means they're all obliged to spend time with each other, the Grinders hold one common trait; when asked 'what are you doing on the 12th May?', not one of them had the guile to recognise the impending threat of strenuous physical activity, nor the speed-of-thought to conjure an excuse to avoid the sorry fate now imposed upon them.

As such, they find themselves bound together to take on The Endeavour Team Triathlon Challenge – a 750m swim, 25km cycle and 10km run in the Peak District, split between the team.

All money we raise will go to support young people at Endeavour who run personal development, education and social action programmes for disadvantaged young people.

Endeavour believes every young person deserves a positive future regardless of their past.
