We are a group of postgraduate students at the Alliance Manchester Business School. In many discussions and chats we had during our study sessions, it became more and more clear to us that the six of us are incredibly passionate about getting involved with the LGBT+ communities in Manchester. The Proud Trust came to our attention when a friend of ours was discussing some of the wonderful work being done on community outreach by the organisation, particularly in schools in Manchester, given an increase in the number of LGBT+ identified youths. As soon as we heard the work The Proud Trust has been doing, we knew we needed to be involved however we can.

Aligning with our interest and education background in business, we decided to challenge ourselves to start this fundraising for The Proud Trust. We hope to help the organisation continue to grow and upkeep the excellent work they have been doing so far, albeit our effort might seem insignificant. That being said, we believe that even the smallest gestures of goodwill could make a difference.
