This year I am going to be 21, and as the first step to OFFICIAL ADULTHOOD(Let's not count 18 because let's be real 21 is much more daunting) I would like to do my bit for society. Having lived in India for a significant part of my life, I have witnessed first-hand how the poor go through the hardships of malnutrition. It truly breaks my heart to see children starve, they do not deserve to be treated in a way that affects their physical and mental growth. Food and water are some of the most basic needs we all have and with your help we can come together and provide this to many children across India.

Every single penny raised will go towards preparing freshly cooked school lunches by the 'Food for Education' program implemented by the charity : Akshaya Patra, I am fundraising for helps children who are in such a situation. Their aim is to:

• Improve nutritional status of pupils
• Increase enrolment in schools
• Increase attendance in schools
• Reduce drop out rate
• Enable pupils to improve their academic performance
• Increase socialisation between pupils
